About

Nick Rowe spent his formative years in Coventry before finally settling down in the Newark-on-Trent area in the early 90s. He has written scripts for a youth theatre company, took up blogging (by accident) and then joined Fosseway Writers. Three years later he became Chair (also by accident) and accidentally started writing his first novel, 'The Ophagy'. He really should pay more attention to what he's doing.

Six of his short stories appear in the Fosseway anthology, 'Gobstoppers, Shrimps and Sour Monkeys'. Further Fosseway books followed, including 'Burning Old School Ties', a collaborative novel involving eight authors taking eight main characters through an awkward school reunion. Other anthologies are 'The Brinwade Chronicles' and 'Blood, Sweat and Typewriters'. The latest book, 'Writings on the Walls', is a collection of stories centred on the buildings in Newark. In one of his contributions Nick has created the town's first superhero.

He currently lives in a Lincolnshire village with his wife, Sue. Occasionally they have to look after @mrfigarocat (a feline star of Twitter & Instagram).
